Nanaimo Women Helping Women was founded in October 2021. The first members of the group were inspired by watching the popular Netflix series “Maid”. This series depicted the obstacles faced by women in crisis who are trying to escape domestic abuse and homelessness. NWHW is led by Nanaimo residents who are passionate about supporting women in crisis.
With over 150 designs to choose from, there is something for everyone! Give the gift of handmade this holiday season and come and make something for someone special or even yourself!
Come join us for a fun afternoon creating a sign that would add to your decor or make a great gift for someone special. During this workshop, you will be guided through all the steps to create this little beauty. No craftiness is necessary! Catch up with old friends or make new ones, while having a fun afternoon out! These signs make fantastic gifts! You also have the option of making more than one sign at a time.
